Michael Clayton

Lawyer Michael Clayton, played by George Clooney, is a "fixer" for the prestigious Kenner, Bach, and Ledeen law firm in New York City. When a high-profile client's defense collapses, Michael is dispatched to deal with the crisis created by his colleague Arthur Edens, who has suffered a manic episode during a deposition. As Arthur's case jeopardizes a multi-billion dollar class action lawsuit against the agricultural conglomerate U-North, Michael discovers a coverup of criminal wrongdoing by one of the firm's clients, leading him to investigate and confront the corrupt forces at work.
