In the Cayman Islands, the lives of several individuals become intertwined, leading to a violent chain of events that turns tranquility into chaos. Shy (Orlando Bloom), a Cayman native, is in love with Andrea (Zoë Saldaña), the daughter of his boss, but his brother Hammer (Anthony Mackie) despises him. Meanwhile, Pippa (Agnes Bruckner), Carl Ridley's (Bill Paxton) daughter, befriends a native Caymanian, Fritz (Victor Rasuk), who owes money to island gang leader Richie Rich (Razaaq Adoti). As the story unfolds, Shy's past catches up with him, leading to a confrontation that changes everything.
