The Heavenly Kid

In the early 1960s, young greaser-type rebel Bobby Fontana challenges Joe Barnes to a game of chicken, leading to his untimely death in a car crash. Afterward, Bobby awakens on a train and is sent to "Midtown" (Purgatory) to become a guardian angel, where he meets people from different eras. As Bobby's assignment, he acts as a guardian angel and friend for Lenny Barnes, a promising high school student who is constantly picked on.
