Ady, a 13-year-old boy, is sent by his father to spend the summer with his uncle Amadou in Burkina Faso, where he must become a man. Characterized as not understanding the situation differently than "holidays," Ady, played by Makan Nathan Diarra, embarks on a journey of self-discovery in a new and unfamiliar culture.
