Le temps des porte-plumes

In 1950s France, a young boy is taken in by a couple after spending a few months in the care of social service. The boy, who is 9 years old, is adopted by Jean-Paul Rouve's character, Gustave, and Anne Brochet's character, Cécile, who struggle to establish a connection with him. Raphaël Katz's character, Pippo, is a rival of the boy's at school, played by a young actor. The film explores the difficulties of the boy's transition into his new family, as he navigates his relationships with his adoptive parents and his peers.
