Mr. Brooks

A celebrated Portland businessman leads a secret life as a serial killer, Earl Brooks (Kevin Costner), who is forced to take on a protégé, Mr. Smith (Dane Cook), after being blackmailed by his violent alter ego, Marshall (William Hurt). Detective Tracy Atwood (Demi Moore) reopens the investigation into his murders, adding to Brooks's complicated life when he also learns that his daughter Jane is pregnant and may be involved in a murder in Palo Alto.
