Olympus Has Fallen

A modern retelling of Die Hard, "Olympus Has Fallen" drops Bruce Willis's iconic character for Gerard Butler as Mike Banning, a former Presidential guard whose inside knowledge becomes crucial in retaking the White House after it's captured by North Korean terrorists. With its non-believable premise and poor writing, the film still manages to deliver some gripping action sequences, making it an almost watchable thriller despite its flaws.
