Pacific Rim

In a desperate bid to save humanity from extinction, Earth's survivors construct massive piloted robots called Jaegers to combat colossal sea monsters known as Kaiju, which have emerged from an interdimensional portal at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Each Jaeger is controlled by two co-pilots whose minds are linked through a neural bond called "The Drift." With their fate hanging in the balance, humanity's final hope rests on these unlikely heroes who must confront the mounting apocalypse and face the overwhelming enemy head-on.
