Pain & Gain

In 1990s Miami, Daniel Lugo (Mark Wahlberg), manager of the Sun Gym, recruits musclemen Paul and Adrian to extort rich businessman Victor Kershaw (Tony Shalhoub) out of his assets. After several failed attempts, they abduct Kershaw, but he survives and informs the police, who dismiss his story due to his Colombian background and mannerisms. The gang's actions lead to a series of violent events, including a drunk driving crash, a car burn, and Kershaw being run over by his own speedboat, ultimately leading to their downfall when Doyle (Anthony Mackie) testifies against them in court.
