Play It to the Bone

Two aging fighters in LA, friends and fellow boxers Vince Boudreau and Cesar Dominguez, get a call from a Vegas promoter who needs them to fight each other after his undercard fighters for a Mike Tyson bout become unavailable. They agree as long as the winner gets a shot at the middleweight title, enlisting their mutual friend Grace to drive them to Las Vegas on a road trip that takes an unexpected turn with a young, arrogant hitchhiker named Lia. Along the way, they engage in a fiercely competitive and brutally intense boxing match that captivates the sparse audience and TV commentators, despite initial disinterest. The outcome is a draw, but the true winners are the two friends who forge an everlasting bond over their shared experience.
