Vivian Ward (Julia Roberts), a carefree and streetwise prostitute, meets sophisticated billionaire Edward Lewis (Richard Gere) in a chance encounter that turns into a week-long business arrangement. As they spend time together, Vivian's energetic spirit challenges Edward's no-nonsense approach to life, and their relationship develops into romance. The film follows their unlikely partnership as they navigate social differences, class distinctions, and personal growth, culminating in a romantic and transformative finale.
