Raging Bull

The film tells the true story of Jake LaMotta, a former middleweight boxing champion whose turbulent personal life was beset by rage and jealousy. Robert De Niro stars as LaMotta, a complex and flawed individual who struggles to reconcile his violent tendencies with his desire for love and acceptance. As LaMotta's career reaches its peak, his personal demons begin to consume him, leading to a tragic downfall that ultimately destroys his life outside of the ring.
