Raiders of the Lost Ark

In 1936, American archaeologist Indiana Jones embarks on a perilous quest to outrun Nazi German forces and claim the legendary Ark of the Covenant, said to grant an army invincibility. Teaming up with his former romantic interest Marion Ravenwood, Jones must outwit rival archaeologist René Belloq and Gestapo agents to be the first to uncover the Ark's secrets. From the scorching deserts of Egypt to the treacherous landscapes of Nepal, Jones navigates a globe-spanning adventure filled with treacherous rivals, ancient booby traps, and supernatural energies that threaten to destroy them both.
