The Life Before Her Eyes

Diana McFee (Uma Thurman) is a former high school pupil haunted by memories of a fatal school shooting that occurred 15 years prior. She has been profoundly affected by the incident, particularly the death of her best friend Maureen (Eva Amurri). The film follows Diana's adult life, where she struggles with survivor's guilt, feeling guilt about not dying and allowing Maureen to live, while also grappling with her past decision to have an abortion.
