Rapture-Palooza

Lindsey Lewis (Anna Kendrick) and her boyfriend Ben House (John Francis Daley) are left on Earth after the rapture, battling their way through a religious apocalypse to defeat "The Beast" (Craig Robinson), a politician named Earl Gundy who takes control of the government. Lindsey's mother becomes the only person sent back from Heaven, causing chaos in the post-apocalyptic world, where Lindsey and Ben must fend for themselves alongside evil locusts, wraiths, and talking crows. In an attempt to stop The Beast, they hatch a plan to imprison him using an escape-proof dog kennel, but their actions inadvertently lead to the killing of Jesus Christ, prompting God's wrath. As the men involved in the apocalypse argue over who will take control, Lindsey and Ben finally open their own sandwich shop, free from the influence of The Beast.
