Bastian Balthazar Bux (Jason James Richter) must restore order when a group of bullies, led by Slip (Jack Black), steal the magical book that acts as a portal between Earth and the imaginary world of Fantasia, causing chaos and destruction in both worlds. With the help of Falkor, Engywook, and Urgl, Bastian embarks on a quest to defeat the Nasties and save Fantasia. Along the way, Bastian's parents, Bastian and Jane, learn to put aside their differences, and Nicole, Jane's daughter, discovers the power of AURYN.
