In 13th century Semigallia, young Namejs (Edvin Endre) becomes king after the death of Viesturs and must find strength within himself to unite his people against the violent Christian crusades threatening their freedom. The film follows Namejs as he attempts to deal with and repel Christian influence in Semigallia.
