Ishtar

Two terrible lounge singers, Chuck Clarke (Dustin Hoffman) and Lyle Rogers (Warren Beatty), travel to Morocco for a gig, but become embroiled in an international power play between the CIA, the Emir of Ishtar, and local rebels. Chuck and Lyle, who are also down on their luck, are mistaken for pawns in the Cold War standoff and find themselves in the Sahara Desert, pursued by helicopters and helped by a mysterious woman named Shirra Assel (Isabelle Adjani).
