Three childhood friends from the slums of Hong Kong, Ben, Paul, and Frank, flee to war-time Saigon after accidentally murdering a gang leader. In Saigon, they get entangled in a complex web of crime, smuggling, and war, where they meet Luke, a hitman working for a gangster named Leong. The group's troubles escalate, leading to violence, betrayal, and ultimately, tragic consequences.
