The Prom

A group of flamboyant Broadway stars, led by Meryl Streep's character Dee Dee Allen, descend upon a conservative Indiana high school to support a lesbian student, Emma Nolan, who was banned from attending prom with her girlfriend. Joining forces with Principal Hawkins, they rally the community to accept Emma, while also facing their own personal struggles and flaws. Along the way, they learn about acceptance, love, and finding one's true identity.
