The movie "Safety" tells the true story of Ray Ray McElrathbey, a freshman football player at Clemson University who secretly raises his younger brother Fahmarr on campus after their home life becomes unstable. As Ray struggles to balance his school work and football career, he also starts to form a relationship with sports journalist Kaycee Stone. Despite facing various challenges, including the NCAA investigating irregular benefits, Ray ultimately finds a way to provide for Fahmarr and gives a heartfelt speech to the board, leading to him and Fahmarr receiving the necessary benefits.
