The Deadly Look of Love

Janet Flanders (Jordan Ladd) is a small-town, unsophisticated young woman who is seduced by the fantasy of romantic love, believing that someday her prince will come to sweep her away. When she meets Brett Becker (Vincent Spano), she thinks she's found the man of her dreams, but unbeknownst to her, he's engaged to marry a wealthy socialite. Janet's obsession with Brett leads her to move to Chicago, where she deluges him with calls and love notes, and even buys an engagement ring, but her fixation on him ultimately drives her from intrigue to murder.
