Red Dawn

In the aftermath of a financial crisis in the European Union and the weakening of NATO, U.S. Marine Jed Eckert (Chris Hemsworth) reunites with his family in Spokane, Washington, where North Korean paratroopers invade their town. Jed joins his friends Matt Eckert (Josh Peck), Robert Kitner (Josh Hutcherson), Toni Walsh (Adrianne Palicki), and others to form a guerrilla group called the Wolverines, determined to fight back against the occupation. The group stages attacks on soldiers and collaborators, including Russian Spetsnaz working with the North Korean army, as they search for an EMP-resistant radiotelephone that could help them counter the invasion.
