The Best Man

Taye Diggs as Harper Stewart, the up-and-coming author whose debut novel has been selected by Oprah's Book Club. He travels to New York City to spend the weekend with old friends from college, including Nia Long as Jordan Armstrong, who has passed an advance copy of Harper's book around their inner circle of friends. The weekend reveals that Harper's friends are dealing with their own relationship problems, and Harper must confront his own feelings about commitment and love. In the end, Harper's friends come together to support him and help him find love with his girlfriend Robyn, played by Regina Hall.
