Weirdos

Weirdos is a 2016 Canadian drama film directed by Bruce McDonald and starring Dylan Authors as Kit, a teenager living in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, who decides to run away to live with his mother in Sydney. Kit is dating Alice (Julia Sarah Stone) despite his uncertainty about his sexuality, and enlists her help for a hitchhiking trip. Throughout the journey, Kit has regular imaginary conversations with Andy Warhol (Rhys Bevan-John), who claims to be his "spirit animal". The film explores themes of coming out, childhood, and growth, set against the backdrop of 1970s Nova Scotia.
