Ride in the Whirlwind

Three cowboys, mistaken for members of an outlaw gang, are relentlessly pursued by a posse. Cameron Mitchell as Vern and Jack Nicholson as Wes are regular cowpokes who stumble upon a dangling corpse while heading to a remote cabin for the night. The cabin's occupants, led by Blind Dick (Harry Dean Stanton), are also wanted by the same posse, leading to a brief siege. As Vernon and Wes manage to escape, they find themselves on the run from the very same self-appointed vigilantes who mistakenly accused them of being outlaws.
