Dead Again

In 1949, composer Roman Strauss is executed for the murder of his wife, Margaret, before his execution, he visits a reporter, Gray Baker. Forty-three years later, private detective Mike Church investigates a mute amnesiac woman who has appeared at the orphanage where he grew up. She has amnesia, cannot speak, and has nightmares. Mike takes her in and enlists the help of a hypnotist to recover her memory, which leads to a surprising revelation: the woman is actually Roman Strauss, and Mike is Margaret's reincarnation.
