Admiral

Admiral (2008) is a biopic about Alexander Kolchak, a vice admiral in the Imperial Russian Navy and leader of the anti-communist White movement during the Russian Civil War. Konstantin Khabenskiy plays Alexander Kolchak, a great war hero and beloved husband and father who becomes embroiled in a love triangle with Anna, the wife of his best friend, played by Elizaveta Boyarskaya. The film explores Kolchak's rise to power and his eventual execution, as well as the lives of his wife, Anna, and his former wife, Sofya. The story takes the viewer on a journey through 1910s Russia, from the Baltic Sea to the Trans-Siberian Railway, and ultimately to the Great Blessing of Waters on Theophany.
