Chicuarotes

Two teenagers, Cagalera (Benny Emmanuel) and Moloteco (Gabriel Carbajal), live in a poor neighborhood in Mexico City with dreams of escaping poverty. They try different ways to improve their lives, including petty crimes, before deciding to kidnap the young son of a local butcher in an attempt to get ransom money. The plan goes awry, and the group faces violent retribution from the community, leading to a tragic confrontation that ultimately forces Cagalera and his girlfriend, Sugehili (Leidi Gutiérrez), to flee and start anew.
