Katie Kampenfelt, played by Britt Robertson, takes a year off before college to find herself and chronicles her adventures in an anonymous blog, pouring her innermost secrets into it. As her fearless narrative begins to crack, dark pieces of her past emerge. After a series of events, including a pregnancy, a death, and a mysterious phone call, Katie's blog is revealed to be a fabrication, and her real name and fate are left unknown.
