Planet of the Humans

Planet of the Humans examines mainstream environmental groups' partnerships with billionaires, corporations, and wealthy family foundations in the fight to save the planet, questioning whether green energy can solve society's resource depletion without reducing consumption and/or population growth. The film critiques the green industry's practices, including biomass energy, wind power, and solar energy, suggesting that these sources are not as clean and renewable as they are portrayed. The documentary features interviews with experts such as Richard York, Richard Heinberg, Nina Jablonski, Ozzie Zehner, and Sheldon Solomon, who challenge the notion of green technology as a solution to environmental problems.
