Late Chrysanthemums

In post-war Tokyo, a group of retired geisha struggle to find meaning in their lives, as the glamour of their youth fades. Kin, a moneylender and ruthless businesswoman, is determined to collect debts from her former colleagues, while Tamae and Tomi navigate the challenges of widowhood and addictions. Meanwhile, Nobu's restaurant becomes a gathering place for the women, but even its warmth can't erase the pain of their past. As they face financial ruin and personal heartache, these women must confront the reality of their lives as they slowly succumb to the passage of time.
