In this offbeat comedy-action film, a German general with a secret must navigate the complexities of his new role as a father in Africa, where he's leading a UN mission among indigenous people. The film cleverly combines humor and drama as it tackles themes of identity, duty, and the challenges of being an out gay man in a traditional setting. With a talented cast, including Udo Kier and Wellington Jonga, "The Slit" offers a refreshingly irreverent take on cultural clashes and personal identity.
