The In-Laws

A mild-mannered Manhattan dentist, Sheldon "Shelly" Kornpett, meets his new in-law, Vince Ricardo, and finds him suspicious. A series of chases and misadventures ensue as Vince claims to be a renegade agent of the CIA, dragging Shelly into an armored car robbery plot that threatens to upend the wedding preparations of their daughter. As they careen from New York to Central America, Shelly must confront the reality of his eccentric in-law's wild story and team up with him to outwit a corrupt government official and collect a large sum of stolen currency engraving plates.
