Saw

Two men, Adam Stanheight, a photographer, and Dr. Lawrence Gordon, a doctor, awaken in a dilapidated bathroom to find themselves shackled to the plumbing at opposite ends of a room. They discover microcassette recorders in their pockets, which play cryptic instructions from a sadistic mastermind known as Jigsaw. With a chilling voice and gruesome demands, Jigsaw orders them to participate in a deadly game where they must inflict great physical pain upon themselves to survive.
