Pals

José (José Luis Manzano) and his best friend Antonio (Antonio Flores) are forced into a life of crime when José's pregnant girlfriend Rosario (Rosario Flores), Antonio's sister, gets in trouble with their families. They accept an offer from a pal, el tatuado, to hustle for money in a gay bathhouse but fail miserably. After being recruited by Rogelio, a local professional crook, they're sent to Morocco to smuggle drugs and eventually decide to sell the baby to a foreign couple to pay for Rosario's abortion. The situation escalates into violence, tragedy, and ultimately, a sense of responsibility as José decides to live with Rosario without marrying and raise their child together.
