Schindler's List

The film follows Oskar Schindler, a German industrialist who saves more than a thousand mostly Polish–Jewish refugees from the Holocaust by employing them in his factories during World War II. Schindler is joined by his Jewish accountant Itzhak Stern, played by Ben Kingsley, and his wife Emilie Schindler, played by Caroline Goodall. As the Nazis force local Polish Jews into the overcrowded Kraków Ghetto, Schindler bribes SS officials, including SS-Untersturmführer Amon Göth, played by Ralph Fiennes, to acquire a factory and employs Jewish workers, including Poldek Pfefferberg, played by Jonathan Sagall. Schindler's actions ultimately save the lives of over a thousand Jewish people.
