Two years after the Woodsboro murders, Sidney Prescott acclimates to college life as a student at Windsor College in Ohio, but a new string of killings begins when someone donning the Ghostface costume starts targeting students on campus. The copycat killer's motives and identity are shrouded in mystery, leading Sidney, her friends, and local reporter Gale Weathers to navigate a treacherous web of clues and deception.
