Royal Shakespeare Company: The Merry Wives of Windsor

In this action-comedy take on Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor, David Troughton stars as Sir John Falstaff, a fat Englishman with grand ambitions for retirement through seduction. However, he soon finds himself at the mercy of the women of Windsor, led by Beth Cordingly as Mistress Ford and Rebecca Lacey as Mistress Page, who orchestrate his downfall amidst a comedic web of petty rivalries and inflated egos.
