Rhinestone

Sylvester Stallone stars as Nick Martinelli, an obnoxious New York City cabbie who is turned into a country singer by Dolly Parton's character Jake Ferris after losing a bet to her at her sleazy NYC nightclub, The Rhinestone. In the end, Jake helps Nick perform a song that wins over the crowd, leading to them developing feelings for each other despite their initial animosity and cultural differences.
