Constance Towers stars as Kelly, a former prostitute who escapes her seedy past by arriving in the small town of Grantville and taking up work as a nurse at a hospital for disabled children. There, she falls in love with J.L. Grant, played by Michael Dante, but their romance is threatened when Kelly discovers that Grant has been using his wealth to molest young girls. As Griff, the town's corrupt police captain, tries to force Kelly from the town, she becomes embroiled in a shocking and violent confrontation that will change her life forever.
