Girl in Progress

Girl in Progress follows 14-year-old Ansiedad Gutierrez as she seeks to accelerate her coming-of-age process after finding inspiration in school stories. She creates a list of tasks to achieve maturity and independence, including befriending popular girls and having her first kiss. However, her efforts lead to unexpected consequences, testing her relationships with her mother Grace and best friend Tavita. In the end, Ansiedad learns valuable lessons about identity, friendship, and family through her journey towards adulthood.
