Season of the Witch

In the 14th century, two ex-Teutonic Knight crusaders, Sir Behmen von Bleibruck and Sir Felson, are enlisted by Cardinal D'Ambroise to escort an alleged witch suspected of causing the Black Death to a remote monastery in the mountains for trial and potential salvation. As they journey through Styria, they must confront their own demons, both literal and figurative, as well as treacherous landscapes and supernatural forces that threaten to destroy them. The group's quest takes them across treacherous terrain, from crumbling suspension bridges to ancient forests, in a desperate bid to stop the devastating plague and find redemption for themselves.
