Salome

In 1st century Judea, under Roman occupation, King Herod lusts after his stepdaughter/niece, Princess Salome, while Queen Herodias plots to use her son-in-law's desires against him. As Salome navigates her complicated family dynamics and forbidden romance with Commander Claudius, she inadvertently becomes the key to her stepmother's power and the fate of a prophet who dares challenge their rule.
