Twin Sisters

The film "Twin Sisters" tells the story of twin German sisters Lotte and Anna, who are separated when they are six and grow up in vastly different circumstances. Lotte is raised in a loving Jewish middle-class intellectual family in the Netherlands, while Anna is raised in virtual servitude by a poor Catholic peasant family in Germany. As they navigate their lives, both girls seek to keep in contact despite their separation, but it isn't until much later that they are reunited at a spa, where they finally reconcile and put aside their divergent lives.
