A French adventurer, Orélie-Antoine de Tounens (Rodigo Lisboa), sets off in 1860 to establish a kingdom in South Chile, unifying the feared Mapuche under him, but is met with devastating resistance from the Chilean army. Accompanied by his chilenish leader and translator Juan Bautista Rosales (Claudio Riveros).
