A Distant Neighbourhood

Thomas Verniaz (Pascal Greggory) is a middle-aged family man who accidentally takes a train ride back to his old hometown and visits his mother's grave, then discovers he's a teenager again, but with all of his adult memories intact. He tries to change things by living it again, armed with knowledge of everything yet to come, but realizes his parents' marriage was never as happy as he had believed. He senses a deep anguish in his father and begins investigating on his own, only to watch his father disappear at the very moment when Thomas knows, when his father disappeared.
