Matador

Ángel (Antonio Banderas), a diffident young man suffering from vertigo, confesses to murders he did not commit after having a vision of a woman killing a man during sex. A former bullfighter Diego Montes, who finds sexual gratification in slasher films, is asked by Ángel if he is homosexual, leading Ángel to follow his girlfriend Eva and later confess to rape. As Ángel's case unfolds, Eva becomes entangled with Ángel's lawyer María Cardenal (Assumpta Serna), who wears an ornamental silver hairpin reminiscent of the woman in Ángel's vision. Meanwhile, Diego is revealed to be a serial killer.
