Thomas Kinkade's Christmas Cottage

Jared Padalecki stars as Thomas Kinkade, a fine arts student who leaves his girlfriend to return home for Christmas break and help his family save their beloved yellow cottage from foreclosure. There, he's inspired by the quirky townspeople and his mentor Glen Wesman (Peter O'Toole) to take on a mural project that becomes a turning point in his life. With the support of his brother Pat (Aaron Ashmore), friends, and even his estranged father Bill (Richard Burgi), Tom's art gains recognition, and his family is given a new start when Maryanne sells Glen's final painting.
