Red Ball Express

In August 1944, Lt. Chick Campbell (Jeff Chandler) leads a racially integrated platoon of truck drivers as part of the elite Red Ball Express convoys that supply General Patton's Third Army as they advance toward Paris. The platoon encounters personal differences, German resistance, and perilous missions, including a minefield, while also navigating their own tensions, particularly between Campbell and Sgt. Kallek (Alex Nicol), whose brother was killed in an incident from their civilian trucking days.
